The woods around Lac Seul and just stuffed with Grouse. They are everywhere. 95% of the Grouse you will see are Ruffed Grouse. The odd one will be a Spruce Grouse or Sharptail Grouse. There are game trails, hiking trails, ATV and snowmobile trails all over the area. These trails are excellent gateways and eliminate having to push your way through thick bush. You can have a nice fall walk, breath in the crisp cool air and experience to the best Grouse hunting you can imagine.

Fall is a magical time on Lac Seul and a great time for a fishing / hunting combo trip. In the fall, the big trophy female Walleyes come out of the deep summer holes and once again hunt in the cool water along the shore. Muskie are in their fall feeding frenzy. Spend early morning Walleye fishing, spend the afternoon Grouse Hunting and then after dinner pull out the big stuff and hunt down some Muskie. Fall is a fabulous time to be in the north.
